Wider tyres for standard M135i 18" wheels

Hi everyone

Does anyone know what is the maximum width in tyre that can be installed on the standard 18" M135i wheels? I'm hoping to go 255 or 265 instead of the standard 245.

Has anyone fitted wider tyres? What brand / model tyre is best to go with?

Info would be appreciated

245 is the max on an 8". Otherwise BMW would've gone with a more std 255 (which matches the circumference of the fronts at 225-40-18). To go 255 or 265 you need an 8.5".

I have seen some original BMW wheels sets for the F20/F21 with 255 at the rear.

I ordered 255, actually I plan to buy 265 (for traction purposes) but I think it would look like ballon in 8"
245, 255, 265 would fit but 245 is the best fit for 8"
