Sequential diesel turbos aren't BMW exclusive anymore
No, Swedish car manufacturer SAAB have (stolen) made their own sequential turbo 2.0 diesel engine.
http://www.saab.com/main/GLOBAL/en/ttid/index.shtml I wonder where they got that idea... and I suspect that other manufacturers will follow.

They never were. Thats been around for a while. Even ford or GM one has a sequential turbo setup on their truck diesel.
