New LCI Ordered

Thanks for the help from here on a couple of options but finally pulled the trigger and ordered the following for the better half-

118i M Sport MT
Alpine White (considered EBII but didn't think it warranted £12/ month extra)
Driver Comfort Pack
Interior Comfort Pack
Ferric Grey Wheels
Sun Protection Glass

Pretty basic spec but restricted to a tight budget although got a cracking deal and now looking forward to taking delivery!

Similar spec to my 118d Msport. Any idea on delivery date?

Apparently mine is arriving at the dealership tomorrow. Will be down there like a shot when they call me.

Just out of curiosity, may I wonder what that ("£12/ month extra" for a colour) means? Isn't it a fixed price (of £550)?

The extra monthly cost on PCP over 4 years.

Dealers quoting 6-8 weeks.

Just been informed that from 1st June production all cars will have Sat NAV as standard and the price has increased by £550 - but due to the higher GFV it's only an extra £6 a month so looks like a no brainer.

Hi all,
Anyone has any experience with 116i LCI (new 3 cylinder engine)?
This is my only option if I am about to proceed with 1 series - so I would really love to hear your comments?
Based on specs it is close to previous 114i - which, I guess, is not really weapon of choice in here...

So - your thoughts?

I really like the engine in the 136 hp version. It sounds better than the four cylinder version, and it seems very fuel efficient. Too bad they tuned it down even further in the F20/F21. Maybe it can be tuned to a more suitable power level, like the 114i can.

Well, initially I expected 136hp (similar in hp to previous 116i) and having noticed that engine in Series 2 Active Tourer - but to my dissapointment later I figured out it was 110hp version in 116i LCI.
I would expect you are able to tune it to 136hp - with the question of warranty in that case? And the best approach to this?
Also if there is anyone who had opportunity to drive it (or previous 114i as it is similar in hp) any comments on that part - I am aware not to expect much - but is it at least "good enough" for regular use

The 114i was good for 220 hp with a tune, and I think the 3 cylinder engine is good for a lot more than 136 hp as well. It has 231 hp in a slightly more electric configuration in the i8.
