Replacement rotors for F20 118i

Anyone changed their front/rear rotors to slotted or cross drilled?
Thank you.

Your m front brake is m sport or m performance? M sport or M performance replacement should be easier to find compare to oem 118i size.

I am surprised by the lack of comments to this thread
I was hoping that someone would have already done this upgrade and could pass on some advice about where to get the rotors.
Are the M performance (option) the same as the 330i rotors?

I am not so sure that it is an upgrade to use slotted or cross drilled rotors.

I think you'd want to be very certain about the quality of any replacement rotors that are slotted, or cross-drilled. I've seen some cracked slotted or drilled rotors at track days, which makes me very wary of them. As Ove notes, they're not necessary.

I think BMW has some dimpled ones as an option in the parts catalog.

I gather that the fronts on your M135i are the same as the M Performance (option)
Did you buy genuine or aftermarket?

Hence the questions
I am not a fan of Aftermarket products.
I would prefer factory or a recommended reputable brand

I agree with you that the term 'upgrade' was probably the wrong choice of words.
For normal driving habits there is little advantage (apart from looks)
Though there are some advantages with having engineered rotors that I do appreciate

The best discs I have found are grooved and vented (used on previous cars)
Has anyone had any experience with Dimpled and grooved?

Mine are genuine M Performance rotors as fitted by my local main dealer and they are dimpled and grooved. They were a special order from Germany though as not stocked as standard in the UK.

Not from BMW, as far as I can see.

Sorry, I was under the impression that you wanted slotted or cross drilled rotors to replace your existing standard rotors.
If so, there are 'aftermarket' available (Ebay) and some engineering shops can groove (mill) your standard rotor.
