Thumbs up How much in your retirement accounts right now?

Curious how the ballers on this forum have saved up, if you are willing to confess . Combine your 401k, 403, 457, IRA (Roth or not) etc. to get a total number in 2016 dollars. If you are married count your combined retirement savings.

Do you feel you are doing a good job with your savings?

*Poll is anonymous

I'm pushing 70 and have roughly enough to buy a prius with cash. I'm living the dream.

Absolutely agree. Age, current income, retirement age, social security benefit, post-retirement spending and income, and when people will die are just some of the subjective factors affecting if the amount saved is appropriate.

A 20 year old isn't going to have anywhere near what a 50 year old has. This poll is biased.

And if you are constantly posting about finding a warrantee plan for your M3....you don't have any savings!

I'll assume you're talking about others... I am not searching for a warranty.

As others have pointed out this poll is silly. Kind of like the endless "how much do you pay in insurance" questions...

a better poll would have three answers:

2. enough
3. more than enough

No, NOT referring to you...used your quote because it points out the useless outcome of such polls. Another good one is "how much did you pay for your M3"
