Sharing my new bike~
Well the bike shop found a Kuota KOM 2011 in the box, and next thing I know they're swapping my parts onto it....
I will get the bike in a few hours, and strangely more excited than when I was getting the car. I will go up our 3275 m (~10,000 ft I guess) mountain with it, which is the highest paved road we have. Last time I failed because I suffered from hypothermia due to changing weather and inexperience. This exposes one of the only weak point of the F20, can't carry bicycle if the back were to seat kids. Yes the bike rack, but it makes that wind noise. It will however serve as support car making me feel like a big man like in the Giro. I hope I make it, but the M135i shows no sign of weakness on its way up to the mountain. It shows no sign on its way down either as it sucks up the potential energy and put those in le battery, very nice indeed. New bike in me car, can't be happier~ |

Doesn't that mess up your 50:50 weight distribution though?

Looks like a really nice bike. What gears will you be running? I would have wanted triple gears up front to climb a mountain like that. There is not much oxygene available on top.
(I used to have a racing bicycle with RSX triple gears up front). |

55km with nearly 6% average - nice climb!! Very nice bike.
My Trek road bike has a Duraace compact front so 34/28 is its lowest - almost never use the 28t rear but then I don't have any 55km/3200m climbs nearby....good luck, look after yourself. Do you use Strava?

Thank you, the weather does change relentlessly in the mountains.
I heard so much about Strava and will begin today, the email used is a22104542@gmail.com if you don't mind adding me. It's the monsoon season for us, so I will begin riding as soon as it clears out. BTW real name is Charley, howdy~ I have not used the software, however. The Runtatstic Road Cycling program was difficult for me btw. |

Unexpected Turns....
So the color is not white, it's matt white, which is difficult to take care of (online searching how)
First ride put 76 km on it in the mountains, quick turn in, light, absorb road vibes relatively well. I quite like it. Thanks for letting me share. I am not sure what "Italian Emotion" entails, but the font looks nice |

I didn't weight it, but I'd say lower than 10 kg, though very post I can find on the internet claims lower than that.
A friend sponsored me a set of carbon fiber wheels, with my own SRAM force groupo, it should be light enough Regards Last edited by westphone; 05-31-2014 at 08:33 PM.. |
