M135i - Whistling Sound on Acceleration

I can hear a whistling sound on on acceleration with the windows up. Do guys get this sound as well or know what this could be?

I have searched and other M135i owners have said that the turbo can be heard. I have had other turbo cars (not BMW's) and have not heard a similar sound with the windows up.

I have not taken the car past 4.5k RPM as car is still under the running in period.

Thanks

With the added intake roar of my K&N filter and the bark of my M Performance exhaust I don't hear that spooling whine very often. I do hear the delicious overrun burble and occasional turbo pressure dump valve from time to time though. Love 'em.

As others have said it's just the turbo whistling and chirping, they all do it as far as I know. (Mine does).
