Got comped tickets to Carlos Santana at the Hard Rock hotel Fri night. We sat in fifth row (guess The 5k I gambled last month doesn't get me $200 front row tix)

And that's exactly what I did got a new host and we are staying in a suite with a great view this weekend on the house! Somehow I feel like I will end up paying for it at the table but it's all good!

Wifey keeps waffling between Hawaii and the UK for vacation this year. Have to admit, I'm torn myself. Aside from passing thru the airport, I've never been to Hawaii. But I love driving around the UK and there's a ton of stuff I still want to see there.

My issue would be Biz class isn't as nice as first class.

For some reason the songs on my ipod all have different decibel levels, so instead of finding a happy medium, I just turn the volume all the way up, and now Ray Charles is breaching my office walls.

I have same problem...bitrate on the mp3 files are different (192 vs 320 etc)

Always a good choice. I had my old host leave, which caused a lot of hardship of finding another one who actually knew what the fuck they were doing. Given that I'm in Vegas at least 2 times a month for one reason or another, having a few casinos/hosts fight over me was kind of nice. Found a new one that takes even better care of me than my previous host.

Good luck on the table.

This is very true, I was pissed when I got bumped from my free upgrade because somebody who apparently flies more than I do was on my flight. The other schmucks actually paid to be in first class, which is very hard to believe in today's world.

Wifey and I have enough FF miles to get an upgrade to 1st for our trip if we go to Hawaii. But the airline (AA) says it'll be the miles plus $750 each. Is that normal?

I'm not sure, as I'm part of Delta's Million Miler program and generally retain Diamond status with them. When I do use my miles, they basically tell me what it's going to cost me in miles and it get's taken care of. If I pay for anything I think it's just the taxes and fees for a full fare (economy) and I get an auto bump due to FF status to first.
