Equity left in car after 3 years of finance
Hi
I know it's hard to gauge but how much equity would I have left in - f20 118i in 3 yrs if I'm putting down a 3500 deposit |

As far as I understand, It depends on the final payment in your quote, which in turn is dictated by how much mileage the car is projected to have at that time and which model of course. Deposit size doesn't come into it as monthly payments will be adjusted accordingly to reach same end figure (small deposit / higher monthly payments and vice versa) For example the final payment for a quote i had for a 118d sport auto after 3 years, 8000 miles per annum is £13.1k ish. Positive Equity would be the amount it's worth more than this final figure (negative if below), in this case 13.1k. About 50% of new price at 3 years.

If it helps, my e81 120i m-sport final payment was £9,000 after 3 years/30,000 miles. Book price at trade in was £10,500, so I had £1,500 equity.
