i'm not thoroughly convinced that we will always 'die'. human life span has nearly doubled in the last 3000 years. once we create artificial or lab grown hearts living past 100 may be commonplace. perhaps one day we can download our consciousness into a computer/robot.
Would you want to live forever in a computer though? Just your thoughts in the darkness forever? I've tried meditation... I go bat shit crazy after about 2 min of sitting still and not doing anything. Don't want eternity in my own mind.

Now if we are talking matrix style... count me in!

Who has watched Battlestar Galactica? The ending of that series is actually another possibility as to how/why we are here on Earth.

I think senescence is a bigger problem than just replacing organs. Perhaps we will find a way to transfer our consciousness into some artificial "brain". Aging is one of those things where every time researchers think they make a breakthrough they find that biology is walking a tightrope.

I just watched a movie about that but I can't remember what it was. Massive farms of manufactured and cloned bodies with no conscience just waiting for someones mind to be uploaded. It didn't work out well though. People become greedy.

The 100 Season 4 (?) has this. The folks who transferred their mind used live people though. Tricked them into thinking they were sacrificing themselves into some higher meaning, wiped their mind, and downloaded their own so they could live forever.

Had a dream, woke up and came up with 2 movies for Hollywood:

Movie 1

-Aliens/UFO's are really just "US" from the future. In the future we create elements like element 115 that allow us to travel near the speed of light by countering gravity. In the future we learn how to bend space and time and travel back in time. We travel back in time to save planet earth as in the future we are not even in the same galaxy. At the end it was all a waste of time and money as humans wont change their ways and will always stay greedy with borders.

Movie 2

-Aliens are living amongst us and are working with governments. They created us from their DNA and have now come to the conclusion that it was a mistake. They need to wipe us out before we destroy Earth. They need to do it without anyone figuring it out. So, they wait for a virus outbreak (they could have triggered it) then they provide a solution via vaccine but what we dont know is the producers of the vaccines are secret undercover aliens. They vax 90-95% of the world for free. What you find out at the end of the movie is that the vax had nanobots that killed everyone at the same exact time (time bomb) and only those who didnt get vaxed cause they lived without TV/Radio/Tech and were fully remote lived on. Basically resetting the planet in time with "less harmful" humans to rebuild. Then after the credits we fast forward into the future 1000 years and we back at square one!

Does a fully charged battery weigh more than when it is depleted?

Movie 1, as mentioned, is what I believe in. Movie 2, also true but they aren’t just working with the government. Proof below of UncleWede with Davos Strongbird:

Here's a deep one, time travel and alchemy being possible and this guy practicing it. Very odd to read and watch about. Could have been a total fraud but the Count showed up all over in history especially at major historical events. Even gave advice to George Washington supposedly.

Why do we think aliens look like the typical skinny arms, legs, neck, and head? Is it from Hollywood? For all we know they could look like humans.

Or cows, or chickens or baboons or something we can't even imagine....

As far as I know Hollywood did it because... well it's easy to stick a person in a costume... not so easy to do CGI.
