Has your opinion changed after spending more time looking at the F20?

Vote honestly please:

How many of you were disappointed in the F20 design
.
.
.
BUT after looking at it a couple more times have started seeing it as much less of a trainsmash as you made it out to be when you first saw it?

I think it'll grown in time and probably looks better in person. I'm sure it'll look good modded as well.

No, I liked it A LOT initially. As I look at it more, I think it's very handsome, but it blends right into the new lineup, IMO. I liked my e82 because it stood out a great deal. It was clearly a BMW, but not of conventional design. Now, it seems, there will be little reason to choose a 1er or a 3er other than price. I went from a e92 to e82 and preferred the 1, because of the style. Not that there is anything wrong with this, it's just not what I wanted.

I'd like to run this same poll after the car has been seen in the flesh, and real life photographs have been taken (like at auto shows), more videos have been seen (like the official launch ad), and when silver, white and black ones have been seen

It's so close still, and I'm sure it'll tilt towards the positive then

I personally think it's the ugliest BMW in modern history. I sincerely hope it looks better in person, but I'm not holding out hope.

No. To me, it is still the ugliest BMW of memory. I literally have no idea what they were thinking.

I like it more, but I still don't like it.

Every car tends to have a front fascia that is associated with an animal, by proxy of the dual headlights and grill - this car takes the look of the wrong animal - a pig.

If there is any hope that this car changes, or that the coupe has a different front end, may that happen

There is no way BMW can insult potential buyers like this, especially when charging almost double the price than any other European hatchback. There shouldn't be room for complaint in the premium segment.

The interior looked great to me from the start. The exterior also looked great to my eye...except for the nose, which is not attractive or aggressive looking compared to the outgoing car. Just nasty.

Looking at the F20 front facia [headlamps] with the addition of M-Sport makes more sense. Hope the production model reflects the rendering. What ever happens, I do agree AnalogDan assessment.

No vote required then I just want to see if "visually offended" people are warming to it, and I'm sure a lot of the reactions are greatly exaggerated

I think it looks good in pictures, & even better on video. it's a much more cohesive design than the E87, and I like the E87!

Can't wait to see it in white

It's slightly better than the first pics but as cars and BMW go, it's still a minger! And it's front wheel drive!!!!!! It gets worse!!! Who would get one of these over an A1, Golf or Scirocco?

Please go back and read the 500+ comments or the actual press release on the new BMW 1er.

In no way does it say that the new 1er is "Front Wheel Drive".
Because it is not.

I have taken time to view it over a few days and I dont really like it. The headlights look too big. I like my BMW's but this looks an odd effort. Audi do the small car better I feel

I voted no because i liked it from the first time i took a look at it.

I see a lot of opportunities in that car and the interior is a lot better than the former one

I vote to bring back Chris Bangle, at least his designs didn't make me want to puke.

The more I look the less I like, if that's possible.
