Should we worry about brake knock-off?
Hello I am wondering, in just about any competitive driving video I see with foot cam, the driver taps on the brake before the actual braking zone to eliminate brake knock-off. I am wondering do we need to do it at all for our cars if pushed hard? I tried with and without doing it but I have not noticed any difference in the initial braking performance/play or balance in the brake.
I thought to ask if that's a thing of the past, or I should still do it for good practice. Thanks |

I called the dealer and they have no idea what I am asking XD
May I ask one more question.... Does the computer tap on the brake for us, or are there springs to make sure they are never far away the piston. I am simply curious. Thanks a bunch. |

I honestly don't think it would make any difference to any sort of driving you could manage on the road in an F20/F21. These things have an effect in F1 qualifying where hundredths of a second matter. If these micro seconds do matter to you, I would upgrade the braking system first as this will allow you to brake later and more consistently.
