Downpipe and Cat?

Hello everybody,

Thank you for your time that you spent while reading my post.

What i am trying to learn is as mentioned at the title. The downpipe and cat.

If i were to remove my cat and have a Downpipe what measurements/points would be the ones that i should care about?

I mean as if the diameter of the dp matters, the sensors, catless.

And what would be the consequences (considering this will be done with an ecu remap.

Thank you for your time and help in advance.

Regards
