How do I remove this trim piece from steering wheel?

Hello,

First post on here!

I'm trying to retrofit cruise control buttons and I can't work out how to remove silver trim piece shown in the attached photo. I have removed the two bolts from behind the wheel but the silver trim is still firmly attached somewhere at the bottom of the wheel.

It's a 2014 F20 116i.

Any ideas what I need to do to get the trim off?

Tnanks

Thanks for that...it looks like some force is required to just pull it out. Cheers.
