Connected drive Store from other country

Anyone has experience with the Connecteddrive Store?

When I ordered my F20 I forgot to select the option ConnectedDrive with RTTI.
After contacting BMW NL about retrofitting this option they told me that a Connecteddrive Store will be launched to buy these services after the car has been produced.

Unfortunately the launch of the ConnectedDrive Store for the Netherlands has already been postponed a couple of times and BMW cannot give an indication about the launch date.

After some Googling I found out that the ConnectedDrive Stores for Belgium and Germany are already live, so I am considering registration over there to buy the services. BMW NL told me that that is not possible because the RTTI will than only work in the country of purchase instead of all European Countries. Can someone confirm if RTTI only works in the home country, or also in other (european) countries?

Furthermore I do not see any obstacles on registering in Belgium. (same language) Anyone already registered their car for another Connecteddrive country?

I would like to hear the answer too.

Just ordered a LCI due to come in June and my dealer specifically told me not to order RTTI because there is no coverage in the south part of NL.

TMC will do the job properly he said.

Not working in the south of the Netherlands?

I did some research and it appears that BMW is using the database of Inrix (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verkehrslagedienst)

Downloaded the Inrix app on my iPhone and it appears to also have coverage in the south?

That's good info.

Seems to be working indeed.

Strange that the dealer recommended not to order while I had it on my wishlist.
