Regardless, why does it bother you that he recorded his life events while saving what personal items/possessions he could?

Be glad that an enthusiast saved *three* Bimmers from the scrapyard...two of them being an E36 M3. To a true enthusiast, this guy did some ingenious thinking/action to save some increasingly rare cars.

I'm glad we have folks like him, regardless of car make.
