New Alpine White 120d Msport

Hi All,

Just saying hello after taking delivery of a new 14 reg 120d M Sport 5dr the other day. It's fully standard with no optional extras on it. I would have loved a few additional toys but with our first baby due in June, the objective was to keep outgoings down. 120d and Msport spec were both the most important factors for me and figured I could live without the rest... reluctantly.

Glad I got the new steering wheel in with the build. Looks great.

I've had a few BMWs before and safe to say I'm hooked on the quality and driving style. Before this I had a Z4 3.0si Auto and before that a 320d M Sport and before that a Z3 2.2i Sport. Love them.

Now I'm looking into retrofitting options I didn't want to shell out for in the first place. A few questions too if you don't mind...
  • Tinted Windows - Anyone know what % is standard for the option?
  • ViseeO Connector to get some way to the enhanced Bluetooth option. Anyone using this with Spotify Premium?
  • Boot liner for the dog - Any tips on where to get this from?

Other than that, really enjoying the car. Miss the 3.0si exhaust note but speed is still good in this.

Cheers,

Dave

Aftermarket window tinting results tend to be less than stellar tbh, the shadow beading on the windows prevents the film making 100% contact and you end up with a line giving a frame in frame effect.

BMW do a full length boot cover iirc that is designed for use when the seats are down which would probably be best for the dog.

No idea about the BT as I don't use it.

Cheers Bob, appreciate the response.

Yeah I read about the beading with tinted windows. I was going to challenge the fitter on that issue and see what he says. My local. BMW garage use him for adtermarket fitting so he must be acceptable to them at least.

Didn't realise the boot liner needed the seats down. I'd rather contain the dog in the boot.

Thanks again.

Spoken to the window tinting firm. Apparently this will happen but that's why they ask you to revisit a week later for them to sort once dry.

It's leased 23 months at £250 and £750 down. Fantastic deal. Took me ages to find it.

Does anybody know if its just the M sport that has that wheel? I have ordered a sports steering wheel as an option and wonder if it will look like this one in the picture?

A very nice car, i'm not a huge fan of the 386 wheels.

Please post pictures after tinting the windows.. Also you could tell what % tint you did use.
