Wind Deflectors

What do you think?
I quite like the look of these maybe give the car a bolder look but haven't really seen them on an f20.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about in channel wind/rain deflectors like this but I havent seen any made for the F20:

I just like them for what they were made for - to enable people to drive with the window open in the rain. Or do they actually have another purpose?
