116i from 12/2018 Carplay EvoID6 (no navi) Carplay MMI Box ?

Hi,

I bought a 116i year of manufacture 12/2018 for my son. The car has NO navigation but Bluetooth streaming and USB connection (no aux). Which MMI box is recommended to retrofit Carplay. I think the system is EVO ID6.
The car has a manual transmission, does the automatic switching of the PDC (front and rear) work then?

Thanks for help, if other solution is better than MMI Box let me know, but it should not so expensive.
