where are my speakers
I have the standard pro audio which apparently comes with 6 speakers but I can only see two (the front doors just in front of the grab handles.
There are also some weird speaker looking panels on the floor under the seats but I dont think sound comes out of them, but I cant find any other speakers! does anyone know where they are located? |

I think the basic speaker configuration is:
- 1 speaker in each of the front doors - 1 woofer under each front seat - 1 speaker on each side of the rear window shelf Which adds up to 6 speakers. HiFi gets an extra speaker in the dash. HK gets separate tweeters in all locations except under the seats (adding in total 5 speakers). |

Speaker HIFI system
Hi,
I have the hifi system, according to the folder, there are 7 speakers. 1 in the middle of the dashboard, 2 in the frontdoors, 2 in the rear shelf and 2 subwoofers under the front seats. The sound is a bit disappointing, lack of bass. I have looked under front seats but didn't see any speakers. I also didn't hear any sound from under the seats. I have pictures added. Can anyone say how you can recognize the subwoofers? And post pictures please? Thanks a lot!. (Google translate) |

Your photos are of the seat base, not the floor. The subs are sunk into the floor itself

So just for clarification, are there speakers inside the grills under the seats on the standard audio (m-sport trim)? I have the grills, but always wondered if there were any speakers in them, or if they were in place for the upgraded audio systems. Thanks, Ben |

Because I don't see anything that looks like a subwoofer. If they are there somewhere, I suppose I should hear them or feel something like a boost??? Perhaps you can post some pictures. That would realy help. Regards, John |

Thanks for the answers. I found them. Put on some music with max bass but like BenN said: Can't say I've noticed anything coming from them, we'll not noticeable anyway! Upgrade frome standard was about €400... Standard must be very poor.
Alpine retrofit won't work with code 676. I found these (dutch websites) http://www.mbcaraudio.nl/compleet-so...0-9-15200.html http://www.hifimotive.nl/product/384...tuigspecifiek/ Like to hear if someone has found a custom fit. |
