Anyone buy the extended storage option?

I haven't ticked the extended storage option on my M135i, but I read another 1 addicts thread in which people went through a whole lot of DIY hassle to retrofit the lashing eyes.

Is this an issue I will face if I want to retrofit the extended storage option? I often carry camera stuff and so the idea of it getting thrown around in the trunk during "spirited driving" is a bit of a concern.

Any thoughts appreciated.

If you had less engine cylinders, you would have more room to store stuff. Just sayin.

The standard M135i includes a storage option, which comprises eyelets and net in the hatch area. The extended option is more for dog owners and the like, by providing a net cargo barrier once the rear seats are folded. I suspect you won't need it, Matt.

Might be useful for putting the kids at the back when they are naughty.

I just checked the configurator, it comes with the Storage Compartment Package, which was my main concern. In fact, it was the Through Loading System which wasn't included. I'm not sure I need that.

As you were ladies.

In Hong Kong our M135i doesn't come with storage compartment package, I missed that when ordering so now I don't have the storage net behind the front seats, no extra 12V sockets and no storage compartments on the back door... Oooouch!

I seriously cannot believe that something like that should be optional.

I believe the main thing I missed of that option was the storage compartment near the steering wheel. anyone got a photo of what that is? It's it's like on my e60 then it was really handy for small items to hide away.

And you'll bend over at their command. That's why they love you.
