Passenger headlight

Hi guys,

I am looking for some help, i have a BMW M140i 2018 f21 with a sidelight/daytime running issue popped up on the idrive system, the headlight itself works but the halo (daytime running) lights are out what are the options i have to work with?

i have been told the whole unit will have to be replaced!

so i'm hoping someone on here can shed a little light on my current situation.

look forward to hearing information on this issue i am currently having.
