F20 2013 (63 plate) screen upgrade

Hi All,

I recently bought a 2013 BMW 1 Series sport and it has the 6.5"entry nav screen. Is it possible to upgrade the screen to the 8.8" screen so I can use Apple CarPlay?

Hi

Yes it is possible. Purchase an aftermarket unit and replace the screen. Wiring should match up with what you disconnect from the cd player as they are colour coded. My version has both CarPlay and android auto. Good luck
