Looks quite nice. I'm surprised I like it.

[Mineral] White on White
Quote:
Enjoyed your album [http://f20.1addicts.com/forums/album.php?albumid=6048 ] which shows off the Mineral White quite well - notoriously hard to photograph as it comes off flat [Alpine White] or like Glacier Silver depending on the light. Seen so very few Mineral White F20s, less so with the stunning White-Gloss Kidney grills from the Urban Line, I am now quite happy I went with this spec. Mine is a Sport line so going to have burnished grey star alloys but this is just lovely. Understated and different! Enjoy! Last edited by SpokenHands; 07-15-2012 at 07:00 AM.. |

Arrived but pending delivery on private plates
Took a sneak peak of my new F20 in the dealer's warehouse, just off the transporter - poor light so no pictures yet but will have some here soon as i can. Have to say Mineral White with grey burnished alloys (standard on sport line) looks stunning. I am swapping the standard gloss black kidney grills for urban line white gloss and chrome grills this week, plus the window tints, and hopefully with no unexpected delays from the DVLA, we are rolling! The car has been delivered on Bridgestone Potenzas. After the Pirelli PZeroes on my F07 and retired F13, this would have been must next best preference so am happy. Glad I ordered the Visibility Pack: the LED coronas and Xenons at the front and LED taillights really lift the design. Like the understated sportiness of the Sportline with touches of silver in bottom bumper. On the interior, the quality and finish is miles ahead of my current 116i runaround - with Piano Black and red trim and a nice Sport steering wheel with just the right amounts of burnished aluminium trim. Really excited. Will report soon! Pleased to join Members iShoot, Doubleyou, Manteroo, Bimmer_man, MartinHattingh with F20s in Mineral White or Alpine White with the urban line trim. Fantastic stuff!
Looking forward to your report and pics. (I mentioned to my brother over the weekend that there's someone who owns a Maserati GTS who's actually excited about getting an F20, and joked about how much that says about the Beemer ) |

If you're considering this change: Swapping To Urban Line Kidney Grilles
You can order the [2] parts from your BMW dealership and stock arrives in 2 working days.
LEFT URBAN LINE KIDNEY GRILLE / white gloss and chrome at £33.49 Part No. 51 13 7 262119 RIGHT URBAN LINE KIDNEY GRILLE / white gloss and chrome at £33.49 Part No. 51 13 7 262120 HOW TO CHANGE THE KIDNEY GRILLE Step-By-Step DIY instructions to swap the grilles over here http://www.f30post.com/forums/showth...=kidney+grille [Requires some tools and DIY capability, its not entirely straight-fwd, but does NOT require removing the bumper whatever the dealer tells you] OR Ask your dealer to do the swap for you FOC (go via your sales manager) They quoted me £150 for the 10-minute job and I burst out laughing, then they said they'd do it FOC Hope this is helpful. |
