F21 2014 from Mexico

Hi, I'm new in The forum. 3 days ago I recieved my F21 118i 2014 alpine white, automatic gearbox, bixenon bulbs, no GPS, no sunroof, 17" alloy.
I will post some pictures later on The day.

I'm very happy to found this interesting forum.
But moré happy with my Bimmer. I'm a first timer. Earlier I drove a VW Beetle, I Love german cars. Here in México it's a little difficult to own premium cars obviously for costs but also for security issues but I think The F21 "camuflajes" very good what you got.

I have some questions for you to help me:
-My car does only has one reverse Light is this OK or I have one broken?
- The dealer didn't deliver any service book. He explained everything is in The Idrive but theres no way to have a service book? Here in my country the service is a big problem, no mattel The brand we are talking about. So I am worried I do not have something phisycall to show and ensure my warranty and 3 year non cost service benefit.

Thanks to all for your welcome and responses.

One reverse light is normal. Our F20 has a service book.

1 Reverse light is perfectly normal on the 1 series.
You should have a service book despite having an iDrive system.

I dont have a service book either, according to my dealer everything is stored in the key and they can then download it from there.
Here in Belgium all this is strictly regulated so I have no doubts whatsoever that this info is correct.

But if you are selling the car, it is not so easy for the buyer to download it. Most people don't have that equipment, so I prefer the book for that purpose.

No service book with mine either, 1st service is due next Jul so I'll be asking for invoice confirmation as well as making sure they log it on the car.

Yes, thats true, i thought about it too. It should be possible to ask a print out of the service history at the dealer, no?
Anyway, its always a good idea to keep your service bills, both for yourself and for the purpose of selling the car later on.

No service book here either. My first service is due soon but wouldn't service data be available in the iDrive?
