A dreary day with lots of clouds but the temp isn't too bad; 67°F. Looks like it'll be this way all week. I'll take it.

Funny, as that's exactly what we had here today. The upside was I didn't need to turn the A/C on.

It's supposed to clear up by Thursday, though, but at this time of year we'll just have to see.

Some warmer temperatures coming with a bit of rain. This morning was another frosty one.

Definitely nice to see some green starting to sprout! The magnolia tree is almost ready to open up and the maples have tiny red leaves.

Another day, another freeze watch for tonight. If it turns into a warning, this will be the fourth night in a row.

Last night's low was 30 F, and today's high may make it to the mid-50's with mostly cloudy conditions.

On the unwelcome side, the forecast for next Monday is for mid-80's F. Way too soon, IMHO.....

The NWS did post a freeze advisory again last night. The low was 29 F'in degrees. Probably the last dip below freezing until the fall judging by the 7-day forecast. Sunny now, with highs in the upper 50's F this afternoon.....

Rain in late April in the Southland at any meaningful level is quite unusual, is it not?

Yes, but grateful to have it. I keep thinking it’s the last rain storm of the season and keep getting surprised when another one happens.

LALA land has had more rain so far this year than the pacific north wet. Before Thursday's rain we were under 13" for the year while LA was over 15".

Luckily for me I don't live in L.A. anymore, but yeah, lots of rain in SoCal this season.
