has your spouse ever been stalked?

For real, a male approached my wife and said, "Are you single? You're beautiful."

She goes, "I'm married." And showed him her ring finger, and realized she was not wearing her ring.

She then moves on, and hears the guy approach another woman, "Have you got the time?" That person says, she has to run or something.

Now it gets creepier. She drives over to the supermarket, and she notices the guy is following her, because, she noticed him sitting in his car when she exited the store.

She makes some manuevers etc. and the guy gives up and parks again, gets out, goes into another store.

She swings by his car, and takes a pic of it along with a clear shot of the license plate.

For real, it's an E91.

In this day an age, short of him stealing that car, there is a permanent link between him, and his behavior. I am sure the store has 1080p video....

JTodd: Fred was really rattled after all this happened, it's like he's over the pink iPhone...

Sounds more like your girl was stalking him without her ring on to get some side action.

You better talk to her about this.

Where was she when he approached her? Sounds like maybe they just had errands to do in the same area. And she can't fault him for approaching her if she wasn't wearing a ring.

Sounds like she could be exaggerating to make you jealous, however, a woman should always trust her gut and leave when creeped out.

Ring is irrelevent

I've seen married people wear and NOT wear their ring to attract "attention"

I've also see men and women who are NOT married put a ring on as it tends to attract folks not looking for "commitment"

Mine has been relentlessly at a Christmas party.

Someone pulled him to the side and said, "That's M-Fuq'n-K's wife. You better move on."

All kidding aside, she texted me should I report this to the police, and I said no. Because as it stands, there is a pic of his 325xi wagon with the plate, and I'm sure the store has 1080p video of him walking in, and in the store. The following in the car imho is really weird. It was from one side of the shopping mall, clear to the other side. But I liked her instinct of making random patterns until he gave up the chase. And smart to get a pic of the car with plate. I had a road rage incident (which one) where someone was riding me, so I took a shortcut and just waited for him to pass. Then I got behind him, followed him to his house, to see where he lived. (creepy, yes, but making a point)

He can't do anything with our plate (unless he has friends in LE), and imho there would be no further involvement with the actor, whereas there would be if a report is filed.

When we were dating, I wish I had $10 for everytime someone made a comment about the pics on my desk...what's she doing with you, why did you keep the pic that came with the frame, does she have a twin sister, blah blah blah blah....

GF works in real estate, for a while her ex was setting up appointments for her to show him houses using fake names and other people's numbers. Finally threatened a restraining order and he quit.

To me, that is an absolute no-no. You're overseas defending our country, and someone is hitting on your fiancé, sorry, that's not acceptable. What you did is covered by the "overseas beat down act of 1776."

To put things in context, if we're all in college and drinking, sure things are going to happen. It's just strange that soccer moms get hit upon by strangers. I mean he would have seen the SUV and the soccer and hockey decals while following behind. Hopefully the ring business is a joke, because when you're rushing to get a toddler to preschool and feed him before drop-off, hey, it happens.

JTodd: Fred always used to tell me he couldn't perform his job if he wore his ring, safety hazard, please try to understand, it might snag and that's dangerous. I said, "But you're a cashier?"

Well, I used to pretty out going and after I left to uni there was this guy. He never spoke to me, but he liked texting.

I got grocery advice while I was shopping and I changed my number every month after the shit got bad. My flat was broken in to, and considering the mess, we all knew who did it, we just couldn't proof anything.

I trained my dog to handle it, but then I got the flu, and an army buddy of mine moved in with me for a week to take care of me and the dog. The guy broke in again and that went badly. The two of them handled the guy well, or so we thought until a year later I started getting texts. I'm a geek so my trail in the social media is minimal, but even after moving I started receiving packets with my lost underwear in them.

I got texts like "are you sad she died or sad you'll be next?" While I attended my aunts funeral. At that point I only moved around with my army buddies with me, or with a trained dog. Hell, I trained one dog to serve the blind just so I could have one with me even in stores.

I buddy of mine broke in to the school server and dug up the info of the guy. At that point I didn't have a home, all my mail went to someone elses flats.

It stopped after I went to meet the guy my friend pointed out as the one opening my files with my dog. All was well for five years.

And then I made the mistake of filling in my new address to our (i was married and had two kids by then) first house to our mail service.

One day, a car showed up. It sat on the road and a man sat in it. I knew it was him when he took off when he saw my dog and when my husband walked out.

I can handle myself in a fight and again, my dogs are pretty epic as are my friends. But the worst part for me was that I was followed and it was claustrophobic.

My husband said to me after he heard that the guy showed up that he appreciates my canine hobby now more than ever and I should look in to asking my friend to track the second dude down again for him to visit the fucker.

Its been 14 years since all that started and I still don't own anything on paper. I don't live in the place I live on paper and my kids have extremely strict rules about strangers. This being finland, they get to go run around free but only if they have phones, and a dog with them.

Nice feeling that is. When my then boyfriend, now a husband was told how bad it was before him, our house rules have been strict.

But anyway, that's stalking.
