M sport rear badge
Just wondering, when you get an M-Sport model, you get the M branding all over, i.e. steering wheel, wheels and so on.
The badge on the rear only dictates the model 116,118. Is there an M badge you can get hold of to stick on? Just think it will finish it off. |

You don't get an M badge on the back, because its not an M-Car or an M-Performance car. Putting an M badge on a non-M car only makes you look like a poser to those that know what an M-car is. So I wouldn't do it.

If I had a pound for every car I've seen in various "M badge w****r" threads I would have been able to buy my F20 with cash! |

I was only asking a simple question, just that every other part of the car has the m logo just wondering why not on the back. Jees wish I have never bothered asking |

I do not see the big issue with the badge if it is a M Sport version as it is fully sanctioned by M Performance, hence the other M badges on the car
If you look at the F20 / F21 M135i it has the M badge on its rear and it isnt a real M car BMW put the M badge on it The 125i M Sport and M135i both have come M badged or de-badged here. |

As someone else pointed out the m sport has m designation all over it. Therefore I really don't see a problem with it myself if that's what you want.

Always makes me laugh when folks do that: a 320d / 520d with an M badge. It's always the weediest spec cars that do that. Does one also pipe in V8 engine sounds on the speakers to complete the illusion. I have a lot more respect for folks who actually buy a used M3/M5/M6 when they can afford it. My suggestion: enjoy your car for every bit what it is, and it's awesome. Leave the badge mods to the kids in clapped out golfs and astras. |

Notice that cars like M3, M5 and M6 do NOT have the ///M-badge in the back. It actually says ///M3, ///M5 or ///M6. When it says only ///M, that means the car has some ///M-parts, not that it is an ///M-car. If you put a badge that says ///M3 on a 3-series that is not an M3, that is stupid. On an M-Sport car, the badges are already there, but they do not say M3!
I think at least most BMW enthustiasts would notice the difference. |

Sorry if I came off a little blunt. We are all new at some point. I once asked if I should get the V8 or V6 model 5-Series. Needless to say I got flamed.

My 125i M Sport with M Brakes arrives in Brisvagas early next week, hopefully I should have it by the following week. I will let let you know if it does and post pics
Best 'bad' car I saw was in Cairo. It was a old 80's square shaped nissan bluebird with a mercedes grill, AMG badges and M stripes. I wondered how he would have discribed it '4 door GTRAMGM0' |
