Nice Skunky avatar, bitch!
I just want whatever you're taking, but without the surgery to go with it. My son had back surgery and they gave him Dilaudid. Holy crap, that stuff had a major effect on him. He quit taking it way early just because it basically got him high as fuck. He has a run of three lumbar vertebrae that look like your x-ray (3 axis compression fracture). Hope you're feeling better and healing up.

Haha. The first two weeks I was on pain meds stone the clock. But in the last few days I've been going without them for stretches of time. So, when I do take them, it hits not hard.

Thanks brother. I had a good day, but tried to sit for an extended period of time (1.5 hours). Man, that fucked me up. My leg twitched for an hour right where the cut fracture is. Imagine worst possible pain, -3. So like pretty painful.

I took 2 dilaudid (2mg each) for breakthrough pain. The twitching is subsiding from the icing so gonna pop an oxycodone (5mg, a Percocet really, without the Tylenol) and try to sleep.

Why did your son need back surgery?

Sounds like a plan. Opiates are crazy shut, but the pain inhibits healing, so you gotta do what you gotta do. It was a "carter" ending hockey injury. Thankfully no lasting effect other than occasional soreness and increased likelihood of arthritis when he is older. Fingers crossed on that one, but it beats the heck out of paralysis, which he avoided by less than a cm, according to the doc. Oct 18, 2009 - remember it like it was yesterday. He actually got up and went to the bench on his own feet. That kid has a will of steel (when he wants to - heh.)

Man... I'm a dad so I can't imagine how you felt. My kid is bonkers and has been taking JKD for 3 months and already up for his next stripe. He's only 5 but wearing 7-8 year old gear - big kid. I hope he takes up BJJ like I did but also don't want him to get hurt.

Arthritis is a real possibility man. Have him take up yoga to keep really limber and strengthen the core muscles. Maybe bone soup too.

Yeah man. My doc really stressed range of motion so he cut out all NSAIDs so I don't have a double whammy on healing. On the side, I've been drinking mad bone broth and eating like an animal - although on keto. Lost 4.2lbs on that too. But taking in a lot of fats and protein.

Wait a sec. CHICANOS say "Holmes". Yes, I've heard that. Like "Orale, Holmes". It's actually used in a derogatory context at times, but very Latino:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Holmes

Not to be confused with "homey" or "homie", shortened to "homes". A positive connotation.

Kimchi Jigae, you went to the wrong minority for verification. But well played.

Gawd we are so "not" hood.

What? Mine is verified by MS13. Bimmette wouldn't have a source remotely close to that!

Holmes has always been a Chicano thing. Homes if lately has been an abbreviated version of homie is only in place because of holmes.

Lol
