I have a similar problem, but that's because I hit a bird on the autobahn x)

I had to replace the whole left headlight, and I still need to change the front bumper...

Suspicion with left side

I know of a few problems with the left side of the car.

The flap to get to the headlights in the wheel arch was missing when I bought the car and there is a slight outward curve on the side panel where the bonnet does not shut.

There is also a humming from the front passenger vent when the heater fan is put to full (the hum is only from this vent).

Very annoying but bought over a year ago now.

So I just got my front bumper changed (because of the bird hit, pictures 2 replies above). But there is still indeed a problem: on the left side, the bumper is lower than the hood, and on the right side it's the opposite, the bumper is a tiny bit higher than the hood...

I will post pictures tomorrow, and I'll ask BMW what they think about it (since I did it in another body shop)
