F20 Performance Upgrade

Hi everyone i'm new to this forum and i have a 118i M Sport. Its currently fitted with K&N air filter, Eibach pro kit, 18" 135i rims and M Performance steering wheel. I'm thinking about getting M Performance brakes and Supersprint full exhaust system. What are your thoughts on those? I also want to gain some more hp. Can you guys recommend any chips or any other tuning programs? These are the photos of my F20 by the way. Thank you guys

Got The steering wheel too, absolutely love it!! Always a cool party trick for those getting into the car!

I know the AC Schnitzer Chip is motor plan friendly, but in terms of other performance upgrades, you wont go wrong with the M-Performance Suspension!! :O

ECU tune for the best gains! Full exhaust will help too!
The M Sport brakes are good enough for your car.

Congrats!

Wider is better, so add spacers maybe? (10 front and 12 rear, or 12 both axels)

Could you post a pic from the side in order to see the drop with Eibach, please?

I'm planning to fit in my 118i... with the Supersprint exhaust too

I got these photos with the old rim and the front part with the new rim but i can take better pictures if you want to. It is 2-3 cm lower than original.

I got my steering wheel from a shop in my country that sells M Performance parts but i don't think they can help you :/ search it online i think you can find it...

And finally, do you guys know about launch control coding for these cars? I've found a centre that makes it active for my car but i don't know what would be the effects of it on my car. Is it bad for transmission parts or any other parts?

Perfect! Thanks!

2-3 cms lower... from M Sport suspension? Great!

How is the ride comparing to stock M Sport springs?

Ride is still good and comfortable but sometimes, when you go over speed bumps, rear of the car bounces a little more than the stock as expected. You really see the benefits of the springs when you exceed 140-150 kms/h. Steering gets really firm and the car sticks to the road.

Nice looking ride.
Not sure that I would have the 'M' wheel all the time.
I should think it would start to annoy you when driving around town and is not a great help on the track either.
I am not a big fan of 'Launch control' systems.
Whilst in theory it can optimize the acceleration, it puts a lot of stress on many components and still requires input from the driver to activate.
'Practice makes perfect'.
Practice a quick take off, and save your money and the extra wear and tear on the drivetrain.

No i don't have any membership to any Turkish forums but i was trying to contact you. I saw your car on an instagram page and loved the black wheels on it. And the front lip too. Yours is probably the best looking F20 i've ever seen in Turkey bro! But I didn't understand what did you do to get that sound from the exhaust? I saw your youtube link here wanted ask about it.

Hello there,

@yalim7 I was willing to put the same steering with you (just the one with the bigger centre). But than thought it would be too much light while driving normal (not aggressive). Do you think there would be a way we can meet so i can see your car and decide?

selçukdal can you please enlighten me if how you did the downpipe (the diameter, the amount of cencors on it) and if there are any warning lights and error messages?

And i do hear (and got confirmation from people i know) that Borusan searches thru forums to see who made modifications and they can void your warranty. And no i am not crazy. But you know how bad Turkish BMW dealer/service is.

Regards
