This is a pretty darn good price considering the kms! Makes me worried about what mine will be worth in a year... http://www.carsales.com.au/demo/deta.../?Cr=8&sdmvc=1

Compared to SOME other countries. In some other countries, we have significantly more expensive cars than Australia, even though we have no car industry to protect. Norway and Denmark comes to mind.

Seriously, are only big engines high-taxed or all of them? Maybe it has point since Norway is third on the list of countries by GDP per capita.. |

Cars are taxed based on power, weight and pollution. Basically cars with small engines are expensive, and cars with big engines are very expensive. We can still afford to buy cars, but powerful cars like M135i are very rare.

Just my opinion, but its missing the all important M-adaptive suspension. Don't Mistake m-sport suspension for m-adaptive...

The spec is nothing special, and the price is about right what I reckon a dealer would ask as a ticket price. But you ought to be able to buy a car with this spec, near new, for less than $70k

Now the 8AT and nav are free, the RRP driveaway before any discount on a car with that spec is around $74K.

I was clearly ripped off by BMW Australia on mine, as it was before the massive price reduction. Fuckers. Really not happy with them about that, and this may well be my last BMW.

I'll join the club, I am extremely p@$$ed off with BMW Australia and a certain dealer at the moment! I'll have to zip my lips for now as its ongoing, but to say they've done some brand damage in my eyes is a major, major understatement. That whole fuzzy new car feeling has been successfully destroyed by them...

Frustration shared here, little interest in mine except for a couple of low 50 offers.

I think a price drop on our cars is generally a good thing, of course with a few exceptions. It would be wrong to hold that against the dealers.
