Most guys like that can't handle the track. There are rules, but more than that it is quantifiable.

There are track times and other racers watching you. These wannabe's can't handle knowing they are 25 seconds off the pace in real life.

They would rather tell people how fast they are rather than prove it.

I do believe these cars have some sort of sensor. Try jacking up a bmw, only the front or the back or the side in order to tilt it, the alarm should sound.
