That was funny. Love his laugh. I just wonder if he'll still be laughing when he has to go to the dealership every other week?!

his videos are annoying as hell, he's got quite a personality.
ive been interested in getting an Aston, especially consideirng how cheap they are. but as you guessed, their reliability scares me. The CPO warranty is either 1 or 2 years. it says you can get an extended warranty, but it doesnt say how long it lasts.

I just wasted 20 minutes reading the comments about the guy with the 640 and the guy that thinks nobody with a right mind leases. That was the biggest waste of 20min so far this year by far.

- He's just spent $50K on a car with one year of warranty to go on a car notorious for problems
- He intends on piling on as many miles as he can (when the car isn't in getting repairs) What is he going to do with a high mileage, problematic car when the warranty expires at the end of the year? |

Not sure where the whole AM's = poor reliability came from. The V8V's in particular are known for being pretty dead on reliable and simple to work on. I've been strongly considering picking one up and have researched the hell out of them. Head over to the AM forums at 6speedonline and read up actual user reviews and their experiences. Most of that community is pissed at DeMuro for posting that video, as that one bad experience was the exception not the norm.
But the image of perceived poor reliability is good for future AM buyers. Should make them even cheaper to buy :-) |
