BMW M Performance parts and some questions
So I have been doing quite a bit of research with regards to some of the BMW M Performance parts and would like to know if you guys will have some better insight into these parts:
BMW M Sport Brakes I ordered my 125i M with this option and could not find any information other than on the F30 forums with the following information: On Front Euro 335i standard is 340x30 M Sport brakes for 335i is 370x30 Rear Euro 335i standard is 330x20 M Sport brakes for 335i is 345x24 Would these dimensions be the same on the Euro 125i M (from what I can tell on realoem.com they are the same size)? Also in addition to this from what I can tell the brake rotor does not come drilled or slotted. Would this mean that I can just order the slotted and drilled rotor from BMW and get them to install it to get my braking system up to M Performance standards? The idea is that I would only need to order part 34106797603 for the front and 34206797598 for the rear? M Performance Muffler Has anybody fitted a M Performance Muffler to their 125i yet? If so I am trying to find out if there is acoustic difference between to original manufacture fitted and this? Am I right in saying I would need to order the following parts: Link Miscellaneous Does anybody have the parts numbers for the BMW M Performance Mats for RHD, M Performance Carbon mirrors and last but not least the front bumper M Performance Carbon fins which sit just below the fog lights? I have searched all over realoem.com and came up with nothing, maybe I am just blind! Thanks a million in advance!

I'll share what I know..
Brakes: BMW M Performance Sportbrake (the factory option) - front 340x30mm (Disk: BMW # 34 10 6 797 602) - rear 345x24mm (Disk: BMW # 34 20 6 797 598) - blue calipers BMW M Performance 18" Brakes - front 370x30mm (Kit: BMW # 34 11 2 221 445/446/447 [caliper-colors]) - rear 345x24mm (Disk: BMW # 34 20 6 797 598) - calipers red, yellow or orange Exhaust: - 18 30 2 293 763 is correct for 125i PP exhaust. Floormats: - pass for RHD, sorry Mirrorcaps: - Set "SZEFA" - right/left 51 16 2 211 904/51 16 2 211 905 Front: - The front-parts are only listed as one Kit: "including the front inlay and two splitters" - BMW # 51 19 2 220 959 for said kit - seems as this is neither carbon nor single parts for l/r, but one big part being added to the M-bumper, and the 2 splitters. If you ordered the car with M Sport brakes, I guess you already have those rotors?
If you want to change from 340 to 370 mm diameter, the bracket holding the caliper would probably need to be different to accomodate the bigger rotor. I think the M Sport brakes are also slotted and drilled. |

Yeah I think if you wanna upgrade (which only is neccessary at the front, coming from M Sportbrakes), you'd have to get the full kit. Which by the way is freaking expensive (2190€ for the 370mm front-kit).
