Good inspiration to go hoon on my way over to lunch...out on public roads.
...maybe not.

Oh my god, this has been recorded just 5 miles from where I live.
I've been there in the past myself, but no recordings exist ;-) This (abandoned/unused) military terrain is forbidden for the public. Sometimes military police shows up to chase people away. Makes the video more special :-) |

Such a cool video and such a great location to film a sports car, BMW should use it (I know that is military but...).

funny to see , how he tries to slide with its open differential. Its nothing controllable.
Nevertheless, nice car

I have spent some hours sideways with out 116i on an ice track, and I have to say that the car is quite easy to control. The turbo lag is more of a challenge than the fake differential brake. |
