Battery system

Hi all
It has been raining heavily for the past few days and now I have these warning messages coming up on my screens.
I spoke to my BMW tech and he says that it is probably the Battery (AGM) about to give out (it is a couple of years old now).
I have driven the car for a long distance to try to charge it back up.
It seemed to have worked until this morning when the warning came up again.
I have booked my car in to have it looked at.

If anyone can shed some light on on this I would appreciate it.

Maybe you should consider getting a battery charger. But it could also be the battery actually failing, as the tech suggests.

The mystery has been solved.
My dealer had my car for a few days to find the problem and did a service on the car.
Also had several items fixed relating to recalls.
It turned out to be a faulty module that controls the air fan. It was keeping the fan running with the ignition off. That was running the battery down.

I had a 420D folding tin top as a loan car to use for a few days.
Very nice piece of kit, but I am happy to be back in mine. The 4 series convertible was a cool machine with the top up or down, but no where as nimble as mine. Whilst driving it I was reminded why I did not get a coupe again.
(showoff 100% practicality 0%)
Those looong doors are a pain in car park and there is no boot space if you want to have the top down.
