Not bad at all like most Bond movies , but in this one Mr Bond has also more a dark side .

I liked it. Plot was nothing but Craig his guns and fight scene are worth it. And the women were excellent. The Mexico City segment was very good
The car chase's never impressed me.
The Bond franchise needs to really do something fresh.

It was ok la. Felt too long for me. Length of the movie never really bothered me as long as it's a good movie but this one went on for too long. Didn't think the Bond girl was that attractive either and was disappointed with short screen time Christopher Waltz had.

Tree and a half martinis out of five.

Edit: The girl in the opening Mexico scene was top drawer. Would bang.

I liked it. After the previous installments, it was nice to see a Bond movie that was more fun and traditional than the other installments which were serious and depressing for a Bond movie (not a bad thing as they were good, but just didn't feel like traditional Bond films).

Plus, (possible spoilers), but the movie did have some nods that Bond fans would like but as someone stated, I do wish Christoph Waltz had more screen time, despite being a major villain in the James Bond universe, the movie didn't give him enough screen time or material to really be the typical Bond villain we're used to, despite the fairly intense torture scene.

I thought the last act fell flat - villain didn't live up to potential, and all of a sudden they're in love and he quits after what, 3 days?

In general felt like a much different tone of the movie compared to Skyfall - felt more "retro" in a sense with the cars, gadgets, hideout, etc.

Didn't beat Skyfall IMO, but I thought Casino Royale has been the gold standard for Daniel Craig bond movies.

Man... I left pissed... Story line was all over the place - they wasted what could've been a great villain with a great actor, car chase they hyped up was subdued and left you wanting, I could go on and on... Disappointed don't go in there with high expectations...

Really? I thought Casino Royale and Skyfall were his best. What don't you like about him? Who is your favorite?

Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan.
I just don't find Craig enjoyable to look at.

I think Connery was the best as well. But, not because of his looks.

Pierce was and still is my favorite 007. My watch is the same model he wore in Tomorrow Never Dies (also one of my fav Bond movies).

This.

Craig just does not have the right look or right amount of class to be Bond. He's like a Red-Neck bond.

Connery
Brosnan
Moore
Dalton
Craig
and that other guy from On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Not sure about that last one, I've only seen that movie once and think the actor may still have been a better Bond than Craig...

What about Quantum of Solace? Aka, James Bond Kills Everyone.

It was in production during the writer's strike hence why it was such garbage.

Not the best Daniel Craig Bond effort- plot was subpar.
My favs:
1. Casino Royale
2. Skyfall
3. Quantum
4. Spectre

The ending was fitting however (last 30 seconds anyway) if he chooses not to re-up and do his fifth film. I hope he does come back and does the fifth one right.

We all know about the Aston and the Jag, but any other notable cars to watch for?

7/10.

Lots of greats sets, but Craig seemed uninvolved/indifferent, almost going through the motions. Skyfall and Casino Royale were better... Much better.

There was a scene in Italy with a parking lot of approx 40 different exotics, Mclaren, Ferrari - but they were all parked and it was dark, difficult to distinguish each car.

Rover's and Jag. Rovers were ( I believe ) Non North America Discovery's lifted with short pick-up beds.

Fiat 500, maybe a VW -Up and I think a Toyota pick-up - these werer all secondary or background.
