Yes you can run past -- a small amount have found that out lots of times with x5d trying to get 600 on a tank

Well you can keep studying up. It's an m4 and I have 1 hr of drive time tops so you know it little better.

Per usual, a Mustang did crash on our first session at the first S-bend. How, I'm not really sure.

The North course is still nice. I never had a chance to run the full course since I've only been at VIR on a motorcycle. Even the AMA racers only run the North course.

Which S bend are you talking about? Turn 4, 5 and 6? going to the back straight before Turn 7 going uphill off camber?

Yeah, going into 4, 5, & 6. Ran into the tires, drivers window blew out, front quarter got smashed in, and he lost his side view mirror. Could have been worse, but still not a good day.

LOL on the Mustang comment.

To be fair, I ran off track at turn 4 once. Lost my concentration for a second and then realized I was going in too fast and was going to miss my turn in point. So I kept it straight and ran it into the grass. Fortunately, I was able to keep my bike upright and get back on the track.

Below is a pic of me at VIR in May at Turn 1. It's not a BMW car but at least it's a BMW motorcycle (S1000RR).
