My 2016 118i M-sport (B38)

Hi everyone, I'm new here - here's my fahrfreund:

An Estoril Blue F21 LCI 118i M-sport - Next to my brother's sexy 330e. He might have the torque of gods, but my baby's got back, here she is in the sun, just getting out of the shower - borderline NSFW:

Black dakota, black trim, black roof lining - with the EB, i felt a flashy cabin would be overkill:

And to conclude things, here's a little footage I uploaded for a different thread:

I am in love with the color. Is it mineral grey?

I also happen to love the liquid metal looking ones.

And ofc white

Under bonnet photo of my m135i for 2 reasons:-

1. Installed OEM M4 strut tower re-inforcement rings - black parts on top of both suspension towers.

2. Been running this CAI for about last 2-3 weeks or so. Initial impressions are positive:-
  • According to my jb4 app IAT's are a few degrees cooler compared to oem with drop in.
  • Noise - slight increase in induction whoosh but not excessive
  • Throttle response - did both throttle body and gearbox adaption resets once CAI fitted so difficult to say any gains before and after so. Feels good though - punchy when you get on it and stutter free on part throttle.
  • Performance gains - car is fishing quick [JB4 stg 2 and BCS HFC DP] already so hard to gauge. Would need before and after dynos to show any numerical gains or losses.
  • Looks - a splash of CF under the bonnet but this is low on my priority list as I don't drive around with the bonnet off !!!

What springs do you have ? Looks too low for BMW MP suspension.

Yes - my schoolboy German is a bit rusty but read on a 2er forum about m235i owners installing m2 MP suspension on their cars.....pricey but I guess it's oem upgrade for passive damped cars.

Hey guys, had my F20 for a couple of months! 118i 2012 model.
I've replaced the yellow halogen globes with white ones to "modernise" the car. Looks much better.
I don't see much love for the Glacier Silver colour.. Is it meant to be ugly or something?
I'd like to retrofit the M sport bumpers, and possibly vinyl the whole car as well in the future, but it's a bit costly and I'm still under warrenty (I think it will void it?)

Otherwise, love the car.
Attached is the only pic I have on me

The 118i LCI is a bit slower than the pre LCI 116i. Both are rated at 136 hp, but the N13 was stronger in reality. I used to have the standard brakes and non runflats on it. The new car has the heavy M-Sport brakes and wide runflat tyres, which makes it a bit slower in corners as well.

At the trackday, I was overtaken a lot in dry conditions, but did really well when it was raining. The other guys did not have so much advantage of their M-power engines and race compound tyres in the wet.

One nice thing with the M-Sport brakes is that the brake pedal felt the same after a track weekend. With standard brakes, the pedal was low and soft for a few days.

Any plans to tune the car? I'd like a bit more power if there is a safe way of getting that.

No plans to tune it currently. If there was an easy way to get some more intake sound, I would like to have that. Now I can hardly hear the engine.

19" wheels and standard brakes? Not the best combo.
