F21 M135i Speedbuster

F21 M135i Speedbuster chiptuned 360HP

Car feels more punchy when u hit the throttle, couldn't believe 40 HP make this much of difference
im not a technical guy, but definitely feels like a larger turbo kicking in compared to the standard setting.

overal, very satisfied with the power delivery for now
the speedbuster module has different settings 1-9. i put in "5" and the dyno result is 360HP, of course you can put up to "9" to gain more HP but its not recommended.

some pics of the dyno result
took us 30 mnts to install, more info visit their website http://www.speed-buster.de/en/chiptunin ... 928419993/

One of the best looking M135i's I've seen... The BBS wheels really suit it.

Do you get any rubbing issues at the back with those 9" ET44 rear wheels? I assume you have 255 rear tyres?

A tuner here in Belgium uses Speedbuster modules and then 'personalizes' them to the car he's treating.

Good to know.
Nice garage btw. Very dark tint on that Cayman's windows!

Car looks great.

Looking at the dyno graph though, the chip has made next to ZERO difference in the lower to mid RPM range. To me this would be highly disappointing, as this is where you need it on the road.

Would be interested to hear the tuners response on this.

Compared to other products on the market, looks like Speedbuster have a little bit more torque.
Here is an article from Auto-Bild. They compared 7 tuning box on 328i N20 engine.

Looking at the power graph over here, it seems to have no torque gains over the standard engine at all.

I know. But power and torque are proportional. P=Tw.
(Don't know how to write a lowercase omega)

You see it also from the torque chart. The gains are hardly significant. You would expect more from tuning a turbocharged engine.

Indeed, i would be disappointed with such box. Mine was measured 319hp/470nm standard and 362hp/589nm with a custom map on jb4. Must say i am running full milltek system with HFSportscat.
