M135i order placed - which insurance policy? [Australia]

As a previous E82 125i owner who defected to VW, I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of a Bavarian beast. Whilst the VW Golf R is a great car in some respects, it just doesn't compare to BMW.

I've placed my order on a white M135i with a few options, but am struggling to decide which insurance policy to go with. What do you reckon?

Both are based on a 37 year old male driver with maximum no claim bonus (rating 1) in a low risk suburb with secure parking.

Have you got a quote from BMW's insurance.
I went with BMW insurance, as they were competitve on my F20. Their quote was similar to most of the other quotes I got

BMWs is done through Alliance and has a 'up to three year old' new for old replacement and only genuine BMW parts are used if the car is damaged whilst insured and one free windscreen/glass replacement per year.
They also offer pay by the month (x12) at the same rate as the one year cost.

In your opinion, in what aspects is the BMW better than a Golf R. Thanks

Ok, clearly nobody gets the hilarity here. I obviously won't be insuring with Youi.

Now, why is the M135i better than the Golf R? Surely that's not a serious question. Why are you here?

Anyway, order placed. Alpine White, auto, red leather, sunroof, business nav, etc etc.
I'm in for a gruelling 4 month wait.

Nice one!

I'm currently driving a Mini JCW and the only way to go from here is up (or down as the 0-100km/hr time would be!).

I'm in the process of deciding what options to get on my M135i.

I desperately wish that we could get the 3dr here (or even the M235i coupe), but it's not to be.

Cozza
I got that the Youi quote was rediculous

I didn't get that your were just poking fun, as both quotes were crap

Who in their right mind would even bother getting an insurance quote with YOUI or AAMI.
Both have very bad names in the industry.

I thought you genuinely wanted advice from other F20 owners who already had insured theirs.

Good luck

BMW insurance is the way to go in my opinion! Did you include the running gear option to be fitted?
