Why, when the dog and wife woke me up at 0200, did I go outside, hear blades beating the air and start worrying about the sheriff chopper being up in the air, and needing to check the doors in case some fugitive jumped my fence and tried to hide in my house?

It was just the freeze fans in the fields. . .

In my delirium, I considered pulling the 12 off the shelf and propping it next to my bed. I still have a few slugs, and some 00 that fit in there just fine. But that metal was going to be COLD, what with the frost warnings and all.

Depends on the cut of meat, but mostly med rare. If it's like a filet then ultra rare, throw it on long enough to sizzle then pull that bitch off.

Every now and then I get a real hankerin for a flatiron with a bunch of salt-based seasoning, done at least medium. Then a tater with lots of salt and butter too.
