What's the most fun car you've owned?

Shooting strictly for "fun" factor here!

RS America, white slick top, 5speed, destroid at Limerock Park on a wet spring morning on the downhill into the front straight. Every time I walked up to that car and cranked it over the biggest shiteating grin was impossible to avoid.

Most fun excluding current M3:

2850lbs, 491whp, 502ftlbs tuned on race gas w/ water/methanol injection. On slicks 0-60 happened in about 3 seconds. 0-100 in about 7.5 seconds. And, with the coil-overs and various suspension mods you could toss it around in the corners with ease. Hardest part was getting 245/40's to hook being FWD; solution was to limit boost in 1st & 2nd gear.

And then I took it too far and ruined it.

I believe the title said "Car"... a Jeep is no "Car"

I've had many Jeeps over the years, a few CJ-5's, a CJ-7 and now my LJ Rubicon. The LJ is hands down the most fun to drive off-road; but it's on-road manners tend to scare my passengers (body roll is tremendous with no sway-bars).

Two extremes. A 1974 Ford Bronco (3 on a tree, manual hubs, 302 small block V8). The thing was an absolute beast and a complete blast off road.

The other, was a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 ... best word to describe it is unruly.

I had a 1991 Acura NSX that was a lot of fun. Only owned it a year before selling it for stupid reasons. It was truly my daily driver in snow and sun. I managed half a dozen track days and a few basic mods before selling it for about the same as I paid. It had Enkei RPF1's, an NSX-R style wing, ZTek muffler, and Bilstein dampers with the lower spring perch. Of all 26 cars I've owned, I wish I never sold that one.

My 380whp K24 swapped Lotus Elise.

Crazy car that one. Makes the M3 seem like a civic.

I'm going to age myself here, but it was my 1997 Acura Integra Type R...at the time, the best handling FWD car on the market, with a stratospheric redline...miss those VTEC days!!

1. Current 135 dct
2. 1986 Merkur XR4Ti.......it was a blast straight line and on curvy roads. And unique looking
3. 2007 Infinity G35....my kids called it the vroom vroom car
4. 2011 Maxima.....almost as good as the Infinity except for the torque steer

Last place.....1983 (?) 280 zx....very disappointing. Wasn't any more fun to drive than my '86 Bronco 2.
