Inlets next to fog lamps
On gasoline F20 models there are inlets near the fog lamps as shown in this photo:
It appears that these inlets are covered for the diesel models. Does anybody know the purpose of these inlets? And are the inlets the reason why the drag coefficient is better on the diesel models (0.30 vs 0.32)? |

There maybe components behind this that are required for a diesel so the vents cannot be put in. Be interesting for a D owner to have a look there and advise

It is difficult to tell from the picture, but there seems to be inlets in the outer edges of the centre opening as well. Maybe those are for the brakes.
