Software update available?

Which is your software version? Mine is TE-005.003.053, which is supposed to be the most recent one, as my (our) car is less than a couple of months old.

I have found in the BMW's compatiblity check site, after entering my VIN, that there is a new version available!: TE-006.001.020.

Has any of you got this version?

isnt this just to update the bluetooth software for new phones etc ???

I think so, but there is no other kind of software update available, so perhaps it does something more than this.

These updates are only for updating the firmware of the Professional Stero / iDrive / Bluetooth and Navi (not the maps)...nothing more. Worth updating only if you have compatibility problems with your phone pairing with the BT.

According to BMW update website ...

TE-005.003.053 is the current & tested version ???

TE-006.001.020. is an untested version and does not offer a download yet ?
