Yes, I have high hopes. Guess the layout of the exhaust is different in the 125. Have not looked into it. But haveing a similar pipe dim as 118 / 125 was the aim. Think 2,5" will do. Not sure aboute intercooler yet, any tips?

Will be "mind fuck" to go 102 to 218 ich over a weekend! Where can I get m-sport brakes..

I tuned my 116i, and was very happy.

M brakes you get from the dealer. They need some coding as well.

Ess tuning software is awesome! Big difference from standard 116i. Hans Petter @ Ess tuning told me i can use 20% E85 for even more performance than 95/98.
Starting to look at intercooler for my F21 aswell, even though i know i should stay away from any further tuning..

Hoi, nice to hear. E85, really! Well, sending my ECU to Oslo within the next couple of weeks.

Don`t think intercooler will do any harm either way, just pros. Just if it is worth the spending.. as im just driving on public roads.

M135i intercoolers (or even M135i Upgrade coolers) look like they could be a straight bolt-on fit which would never be detected in any periodic Control, and of course Cold air is always better.
118i pre-cat exhaust will also only do good, as well as an oil cooler from 118i.

When I say I know i should stay away from further tuning it is because i have been Down that road before on several Nissan S14's and it's always expensive, since I end up using way too much Money on the cars, making it funnier but less of a daily driver.

This is encouraging for anyone considering the 116i. Doesn't seem like a bad car out of the box according to the dyno. Can you imagine a remap? That would be ungodly gains!

I heard manufacturers usually understate the figures. I don't know why though.

An update for those who are interested..
Have driven my tuned car for some months now. (218 hp ECU + 2,5" Milltek cat-back, resonated).
It is mad how this car changed! From 102hp is was a given that it would, but in this way. The switch from 95 to 98 ron was also significant.
DSC off... In the wet; I can drift a bit in roundabouts and when full on giving it a flick in 3rd the rear lets off some drift. Potent! It pulls all the way. Got the dyno papers from ESS on this, and I believe them. Think this one could have followed my previous Astra OPC 240 hp quite far up the road. Bonus, milage as gone a bit down if behaving.

Tempting to continue with de-cat downpipe and intercooler. But.. coilovers and summer rims are on the top of the list.
