My M135i

Hi Guys , new to the forum !! Here is my 2014 M135i Milltek full turbo back exhaust,JB4 Stage 2 Map2 ,AFE Intake,CAI Deflector plate,Sports Peddle kit and black out grills. Car is pretty quick with a 0-100 in 3.82 as displayed !! Little vid of the stock car running JB4 map 1
Will grab a new video with exhaust fitted and afe intake running map 2 - but first three gears are useless now as wheel spin is unavoidable.

So maybe it would be more worthwhile to work on the traction issue than adding even more power? You don't mention a limited slip differential. Seems like a very necessary addition to your car.

hmmmm

Sounds like you've created quite a monster......

Personally I don't see the point of having loads of power if you can barely use it, other than for destroying tyres.

In the UK climate that car would be almost undrivable and certainly very dangerous in anything less than ideal conditions

Its like adding loads of sub woofers to a hi-fi. Makes for palpable and impressive bass but does nothing for the music.

At least in my mind balance and driveability are what 'freude am fahren' means but maybe that comes with maturity, of which I have plenty

Yeah she's the daily Monster for sure !! I have always wanted a high powered rear wheel drive car so now i have it and its a pleasant change from completely over the top 4WD weekender which is a 650HPATW
Subaru on 116Ron Martini racing Ethanol. It doesn't have a stereo either :-)

Are you happy with the milltek & jb4? I was going to wait for Akra but Milltek would be next choice...

Very very happy ! If your car is built after 06/13 make sure on the dump pipe from Milltek is correct with the outlet sizing off the turbo. The cat back also gave noticeable gains coupled with the JB4. I see your in Brisbane also ... Make sure you do adaptive WOT runs for the JB4 to learn. I'm also running the united 100 which has a splash of ethanol ;-)

Wide open throttle. You could have either the 3.5" or the 4" turbo outlet.

Hi Guys !! Please find attached a photo and downloadable CSV of a 4th gear pull after the new DP install and intercooler !! Feels strong !! Needs more boost now.

M135I
ER Downpipe
Milltek exhaust
AFE Intake and CAI
Wagner IC
JB4 Stage 2 Map 2

It's weird even in sports + traction control off - floor it in 4th gear and traction control still kicks in ?

I was impressed with the target Vs actual boost. Also a point to notice is now that the IC is fitted I'm seeing very stable IAT under WOT. In fact I'm actually seeing in some cases up to 13F cooler IAT temps over the stock IC which in my opinion warrants the installation.

Sport+ reduces stability control and changes the way TC operates. It doesn't turn it off in spite of the little orange light.

If you want to spin the wheels and go nowhere you need to push and hold the DSC button for 5 seconds until the "DSC Disabled" warning appears.

That can't be fixed, but comfort pedal settings is not crap. You just have to press the pedal further in.

There are third party boxes that change the pedal mapping as well, such as the Sprint Booster.

My mate works at BMW - I'm going to code this out !! I need sports+ throttle with traction control completely off !! I have already coded out the auto stop feature and when you start the car its already in sports mode not comfort !! This will be his next task.
