BMW performance steering wheel or not ?

I am thinking of getting a 135i soon, and i just wanted to ask for your opinion if i should get the performance steering wheel as well. Is it worth the $ 1,224 they ask for it the dealerships?

Are you planning on tracking the car? That's the only use (and marginal at that) I can imagine for the performance wheel. Other than that, the price is too much to pay for just a cooler looking wheel.

Agreed with the above. The sport steering wheel on the 135 is fantastic as is.

You really need to try one before buying it. I definitely wouldn't put that much money into it if I couldn't personally compare it to the standard sport wheel (which is the same size by the way).
