m dead pedal?

My brother is thinking of getting a 118i for my mum.

Just went and saw one today, 118i alpine white with m sport pack. But i dont think it had the m sport dead pedal that is listed in the brochure?
Had another look at a m135i and dont think it had it too?

what gives?

I think there was a similar issue with the e82s?

(this is in australia if it makes a diff)

Maybe it is a right hand drive issue. I think all left hand drive M Sport cars has it.

If you are you referring to the foot rest 'pedal' when you say "a m sport dead pedal"
The M Sport Auto comes with the left foot rest 'pedal'

Why not check with your dealer. Typically these come only with auto's of course.

Why? You need a place to rest your left foot also with a manual gearbox.

I have a F20 Sport RHD with the Sport Automatic gearbox and I have a foot rest for my left foot, I assume that is what the OP meant by a dead pedal.

Thanks nicvw, that is the dead pedal. But do you have the m sport metal plate on it? Or is it just plastic/black

The metal footrest on M Sport is only on LHD cars. RHD cars with M Sport miss out.

same deal with the F30s.... our RHD models don't have the M-sport dead pedal. There's no official part # for it yet either can get the pedals cos apparently they're the same for LHD/RHD but the footrest is different....

It's not really advertised as it's in a brochure. I think we are just great at nitpicking. Anyway, there is a disclaimer on the back of brochures which covers them on instances like this.

Our left hand steering M-Sport car has the M-Sport metal foot rest, but fortunately regular rubber pedals. I prefer the friction from rubber over metal pedals.
